What can Duryodhana teach us about dharma? And what if our understanding of our purpose in life is missing something rather important? In this episode, I continue exploring the ideas behind the Bhagavad Gītā, looking at the story of Duryodhana and what it reveals about knowing our path, making choices and acting in accordance with what we believe to be right. Then I throw in a tantric curveball. What if your dharma isn't something you have to discover, achieve or get right? What if simply being is your dharma? It's a different way of thinking about purpose, responsibility and what it means to live well, and one that opens up some delicious philosophical questions.

Want to explore these ideas with other curious minds? Join me for the Gita Chat Club, a space for nourishingly nerdy conversations, different perspectives and following the rabbit holes together.

The Gita Chat Club starts this Thursday, 5 November!

Over six live discussions we'll explore the text together, compare translations and commentaries, share ideas and follow the interesting rabbit holes that emerge when curious people get together.

This isn't a lecture series where I'll tell you what the text means. It's a nourishingly nerdy space for good conversations, different perspectives and exploring the Bhagavad Gītā in company. You don't need to be a Sanskrit scholar or have read the whole text. Just bring your curiosity.

The series is $120, or free with my $20/month Patreon tier.
